Journeying Workshop Pairs up with No Fret Cooking Lunch

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANo Fret Cooking hosts a variety of happenings. One such happening was a journeying workshop facilitated by Rachel Leah of Centering. She explained the process and then played her drum as she led us on the journey for each of us to experience our own personal power animal. Everyone enjoyed their journey. Beth Boynton one of the participants shares her experience below.

I had never been on a drumming journey before to meet my “Power Animal”. I had a spiritual experience, which was very dear to me. I am grateful for Rachel’s beautiful drumming and the introduction to this process, where I met my “Heron”, got to say thanks and goodbye to my “Dolphin” and enjoyed the company of 5 compassionate and wise women. Our day was enriched with a beautiful, delicious, and healthy lunch provided by Marilynn Carter of No Fret Cooking. Our small group had the chance to learn more about each other while enjoying lunch. I felt a deep sense of joy and fullness in every way! Thank you Rachel, Marilynn, and fellow journeyers!

A No Fret lunch was served after the journey. Lunch began with freshly squeezed orange/grapefruit juice, followed by a colorful, fresh salad with additional add ins; a crustless and gluten-free quiche; gluten-free and sugar-free banana-date bread; and we rounded out lunch with anytime parfait. Quiche and Bread recipes can be found in the cookbook and the parfait can be found in the recipe section on this site.
